BosBevok was born in the African bush — but today it stands for something far deeper than campfire stories. It represents a return to the wild.

Founded and led by myself, Craig Mitchell — qualified field guide, Editor of KhakiBush Magazine, and partner in the Great Outdoors Expo — BosBevok is built on one simple belief: Africa is not something you observe from a vehicle window. It’s something you walk, breathe, track, and sleep within.

The name remains true to its roots. “Bos” means bush. “Bevok” means wild, untamed, a little crazy in the best possible way. Together, it speaks to a spirit that refuses fences — a spirit found on ancient game paths, beside riverbanks under open skies, and along remote 4x4 routes where few dare to venture.

Through years of storytelling, conservation advocacy, and outdoor leadership, one truth has remained clear: people are craving real connection. Not luxury for the sake of it. Not filtered experiences. But authenticity.

BosBevok offers immersive Big 5 wilderness trails and curated 4x4 overland expeditions through the raw landscapes of KwaZulu-Natal. Small groups. Intentional journeys. Ethical, conservation-driven experiences.

This is not tourism.
It is reconnection — to nature, to silence, to perspective.

BosBevok is for those ready to step properly into the wild.

Welcome to the trails.
Welcome to the tracks.
