BosBevok was born in the Southern African bush — where campfires crackle, our gins, brandy's and beers flow freely, and stories of wild adventures echo long after the flames die down.

What started as a love for untamed places has grown into a bold outdoor lifestyle brand, bringing adventurers, braai-masters, overlanders, and wild souls quirky drinks, bush gear, and adventure essentials to fuel life off the beaten path.

The name says it all. In Afrikaans, “bos” means bush, and “bevok” is local slang for something wild, crazy, or downright epic. Together, they become Bush-Crazy — the spirit behind every bottle, every piece of gear, and every trail we chase.

I am Craig Mitchell — guide, adventurer, KhakiBush Magazine editor and founder, part owner of the Great Outdoors Expo, storyteller, and the founder behind BosBevok.

BosBevok was inspired by a life carved out in the wild: muddy trails, remote reserves, border crossings, and backroads that never quite behave. Our drinks and gear are a tribute to real adventurers — the ones who wear dust like a badge of honour and believe a day spent outside is a day well lived.

Every product we make is for moments that matter: campfire laughter, sunsets after long drives, impromptu adventures, and friendships forged under the stars.
